DESCRIPTION
ADOS RTV Neutral Cure Silicone is a single component general purpose, fast curing, room temperature vulcanising silicone. Specially formulated and translucent in colour for use with most materials such as ceramics, steel, aluminium, concrete, brick, glass, most painted surfaces and most plastics to form a flexible weatherproof seal.ADOS RTV can also be used with zinc-coated/galvanised metal products, aluminium frames and fibreglass to glaze, seal and weatherproof.
Applications
Provides excellent adhesion to zinc-coated/galvanised metals, aluminium and fibreglass. General purpose adhesive and sealant for ceramics, aluminium, concrete, brick, glass, most painted surfaces and most plastics. Draught proofing. Weather sealing. Butt or lap shear joints. Plastic to metal in curtain wall assemblies. Metal to concrete in perimeter sealing. Plumbing applications. Metal roofing systems. Spouting/flashing and down-pipes. Skylights. Metal and PVC flues/extraction units. Pipe or sprinkler system penetrations. Air conditioning ducting. Sheet-metal fabrications.
