CRC Etch-10 is a high-performance Red Oxide Vinyl Etch Primer designed for superior adhesion & corrosion resistance on various metal surfaces. (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous). CRC Etch-10 is ideal for key-coating metals, bare aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper & galvanised metal surfaces. CRC Etch-10 can be overcoated with most standard decorative paint systems for metals.
Applications
Industrial manufacturing, fabricating. Boat or Vehicle building. Suitable for use on Ferrous & Non-Ferrous metals.

CRC Etch-10 is a high-performance Red Oxide Vinyl Etch Primer designed for superior adhesion and corrosion resistance on various metal surfaces (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous).
CRC Etch-10 is ideal for key-coating metals, bare aluminium, galvanised metal surfaces, stainless steel, brass and copper. CRC Etch-10 can be overcoated with most standard decorative paint systems for metals.
Surface Preparation:
- Remove signs of corrosion with a wire brush or emery paper or similar
- Clean surface with CRC Brakleen or similar degreaser if required
- Where possible, abrade surface with disc grinding, wire brush or sandpaper
Application & Directions:
- Shake can until the agitator ball is moving freely and then for at least 1 further minute to ensure content is thoroughly mixed
- Apply with smooth even strokes to a clean dry surface holding can approximately 25cm from surface until desired coverage is achieved
- When finished spraying, clean valve by turning can upside down and pressing button until only pressure escapes
