CRC Evapo-Rust Canister effectively removes even deep rust on all types of mild steel and iron. It is safe on all surfaces and will not harm copper, brass, aluminium, plastic, rubber, or vinyl. CRC Evapo-Rust Canister can be reused until performance drops off. It is non-toxic, non-caustic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and contains no acids, alkalis, or petroleum.
How to use CRC Evapo-Rust Canister
Directions:
- Use at 18°C and above for best results
- Remove dirt and loose rust. Clean oily or greasy surfaces. Rinse clean with water
- Place the item into the dip basket inside the canister. Make sure the item is completely submerged in CRC Evapo-Rust
- Depending on the depth and age of rust, soak the item for at least 30 minutes for light rust and 12 - 24 hours for stubborn rust
- Once the item is rust-free, rinse with water and dry immediately. The item can be painted or stored
- Replace the lid and store the used CRC Evapo-Rust in the container for the next use
Note: If CRC Evapo-Rust is used below 15°C, cleaning times will be extended.
Tip: Once the solution is entirely spent, empty the container and refill it with CRC Evapo-Rust.
