CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block 420ml
DESCRIPTION
CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block is an effective, flash rust inhibitor for use immediately post rust removal. It leaves a dry film which acts as a short term barrier (up to 4 weeks indoors) preventing the treated surface from rusting prior to finishing.
Applications
CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block is suitable for use on fresh cut steel and items treated with CRC Evapo-Rust Ready to Use post rust removal.

For long term rust protection, CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block can be primed and overcoated. It is compatible with most surface coatings.
How to use CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block
- For use immediately after rust removal or steel fabrication to prevent flash rusting.
- Prior to application ensure the surface is completely rust free, clean and dry.
- Shake can well. Hold can 15-20cm away from surface and spray with light strokes to achieve a light, even coating on the surface. Note: will leave a light, dry, transparent film on the surface.
- Surface will be touch dry in 5-8 minutes and can be primed over if required. If overcoating follow manufacturer’s instructions. (If needing to remove, use Methylated spirits or similar).
Handy Hint: For long term rust protection, we recommend using a primer and sealer such as CRC Metal Armour or alternative CRC products such as Long Life or Soft Seal.
Note: CRC Evapo-Rust Rust-Block should not be used for long term rust protection but as an intermediary protection prior to finishing. Test on a small, inconspicuous area before use to assess material compatibility.
