CRC Rust Converter 250ml
DESCRIPTION
CRC Rust Converter is a fast-drying coating that neutralises rust and forms a waterproof, black primer in one step. It offers long-lasting rust protection, ideal for lightly rusted or prepared metal surfaces. It's non-flammable and free from carcinogens.
Note: CRC Rust Converter may not prevent further rusting when applied to heavy rust scale.

Minimum 12 hours cure time before painting. Overcoat with an enamel top coat for best results. If using a water based topcoat use a stain-blocking primer to avoid staining

CRC Rust Converter rapidly neutralises rust and turns rust into a black usable surface for priming and painting. Can be used on cars, truck frames/beds, boats, and trailers, railings, fences, iron or steel furniture, equipment, tools, and more.
Directions:
- Apply only when temperatures are between 10°C and 32°C
- Remove dirt, grease, oil, and other contaminants
- Remove blistered or loose paint and loose or heavy rust scale with a scraper or mechanical sander
- Use of rubber gloves is recommended
- Mix or shake well before using
- Pour estimated amount needed into a clean container. Material cannot be returned to the original container after use
- For maximum penetration, work CRC Rust Converter into rusted surfaces with a synthetic bristle brush. For large areas, use a roller or sprayer
- Overcoat with an enamel top coat for best results. If using a water-based top coat use a stain-blocking primer to avoid staining
- Clean all painting equipment immediately after use with cold water
- Protect CRC Rust Converter from freezing in the container. Store above 5°C
- Allow 4 hours cure time before overcoating
- If painting, for the best long-term results, spray with CRC Metal Armour to provide a protective primer coat.
Note: CRC Rust Converter may not prevent further rusting when applied to heavy rust scale. CRC Rust Converter is not suitable as a rust preventative coating and should never be used to treat steel which is new or not rusty. CRC Rust Converter is not designed for nonferrous metals, galvanised, or stainless steel.
