CRC Rust Converter Aerosol 425g - Neutralises Rust

Directions:

1. Apply only when temperatures are between 10°C and 32°C.
2. Remove blistered, loose paint, other surface coatings and loose or heavy rust scale with a scraper or mechanical sander.
3. Remove dirt, grease, oil and other contaminants from surrounding surfaces and mask surrounding area.
4. Use of rubber gloves is recommended.
5. Shake well before using.
6. Spray area to be treated with a heavy coat. Note: Apply a second coat once dry if initial coat doesn’t completely convert rusted area.
7. When finished using, turn can upside down and spray to clear product from valve and spray head.
8. Wipe spray head clean with cloth or paper towel.
9. Allow at least 4 hours cure time before overcoating.
10. If painting, for the best long-term results, spray with CRC Metal Armour to provide a protective primer coat.

Disclaimer: CRC Rust Converter will not prevent further rusting when applied to heavy rust scale. It is not suitable as a rust preventative coating and should never be used to treat steel which is new or not rusting. It is not designed for use on non-ferrous metals, galvanised or stainless steel. Test on a small, inconspicuous area before use to ensure material compatibility.
