DESCRIPTION
CRC TAC-2 is an exceptional lubricant with tough adhesive qualities. Based on heavy-duty high-pressure gear oil and modified to resist fling-off at high speed and high temperatures, CRC TAC-2 penetrates deeply into the surface before solvents evaporate and leaves a tenacious tacky film for continuous lubrication. It greatly reduces friction and wear on turning and rotating parts, minimises chain stretch problems and protects from corrosion. It withstands extreme pressure, salt corrosion, and water washout, meaning it is ideal for marine applications.
Applications
CRC TAC-2 is ideal for all types of chain drives, open gears, car wash equipment, bottling plants, hoists, conveyors, forklifts, tractors, farm equipment, cement trucks, wire ropes, and marine applications.

CRC TAC-2 resists cold, hot, and salt water wash-off and high temperature sling-off. Reduces wear and friction. Effectively lubricates chain drives, open gears, pulleys, wire ropes, and conveyors. Penetrates vital chain pin and bushing areas and wire rope strands, then thickens to form a tenacious, long-lasting lubricant. Heat-resistant active over a wide temperature range of 250 °C to 1650 °C. Stable and long-lasting. Reduces noisy chain systems and helps increase chain and wire rope life.

How to use CRC TAC-2
Directions:
- Shake well before using
- When applying to a chain, apply to the upper edges of the overlapping chain side plates and allow the lubricant to set up before energising.
- When applying to a wire rope, coat the entire surface, allowing CRC TAC-2 to penetrate between the strands
- Apply directly to rollers and sprockets
- Spray an even coat over all wear surfaces
- Do not apply while the equipment is energised in any application
