CRC Throt-L-Body Cleaner 500ml - Throttle Body Cleaner

CRC Throt-L-Body is an effective blend of liquid hydrocarbon cleaning compound specifically formulated to remove harmful deposits from throttle bodies and air intake systems in fuel-injected vehicles.

Stalling and rough idling are often caused by a buildup of deposits from airborne contaminants or oil and combustion gases in the throttle body. Regular cleaning with CRC Throt-L-Body restores engine performance, improves fuel economy, reduces engine wear and prevents build-up while lubricating moving parts. Safe on coatings, sensors, o-ring seals, and other sensitive components.

How to use CRC Throt-L-Body

Directions:

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperatures, then turn off the engine
2. Disconnect air hoses or wires on the air intake duct that connects the throttle body to the air filter box
3. Disconnect the air intake duct from the throttle body. Inspect the air intake duct carefully for leaks or tears that might permit uncleaned air into the engine and build up unwanted deposits. Replace or repair if required
4. Place a cloth under the throttle body to collect run-off
5. Shake the can and attach the extension tube
6. Spray CRC Throt-L-Body into the throttle body bore while manually moving the butterfly valve back and forth
7. Remove dissolved deposits with a clean cloth. Be sure to clean throttle linkages, as this product will leave a lubricating residue
8. Reconnect the air intake duct and all hoses and wires
9. Start the engine and rev it up for a few minutes to flush out all the product

Notes:

• Always follow the recommendations in the instruction manual of the equipment manufacturer.
• Do not use on vehicles equipped with superchargers and/or diesel engines.
• Engine idle speed may be higher than normal for some time until the ECU is able to adjust to the new air flow properties.
