CRC Evapo-Rust is a non-toxic rust remover for fast and effective restoration. The award-winning formula is specifically designed to remove rust, with no scrubbing or sanding required.
It is safe, simple, and easy to use. No need for mixing, the solution is ready to use.

Non-toxic, non-caustic & non-corrosive. Powerful heavy-duty formula for even the toughest rust. Reusable with long lasting efficacy. No fumes or bad odours, non-flammable, no VOCs. Will not harm unrusted steel, safe on other metals. Will not affect plastic, PVC, Viton and non-oxide-based paints.
CRC Evapo-Rust effectively removes even deep rust on all types of mild steel and iron:
- It is safe on all surfaces and will not harm copper, brass, aluminium, plastic, rubber, or vinyl
- CRC Evapo-Rust can be reused until performance drops off
- CRC Evapo-Rust is non-toxic, non-caustic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and contains no acids, alkalis, or petroleum
Directions:
- Pre-clean item if it is dirty or oily
- Rinse item thoroughly and completely immerse item in CRC Evapo-Rust
- Continue soaking until all rust has been removed. Depending on the depth and age of rust, soak your item for at least 30 minutes for light rust and 12-24 hours for stubborn rust
- Once rust is removed, rinse the item with water and dry. For larger items, water blasting gives the best results.
Note: If CRC Evapo-Rust is used below 18°C, cleaning times will be extended.
